Great horned owl on our backyard this afternoon

Once again, hardly National Geographic stuff. ;)

Was a huge surprise to see. Took quite a few stills as well. I'd been taking photos of a northern flicker (so had the camera) and when I looked back outside it was siting on a fat feeder post. Then flew over to the wagon wheel.

The A77 does great vid too! I really must try mine out soon on a few birds.
