First go at video with A77 - kingfisher
« on: November 26, 2011, 07:45:37 PM »
Had my first go with the video on the A77 when I was trying to photograph a kingfisher this afternoon - the light was so poor that at ISO2500 I managed 1/125 sec at F4 on the 600 so was quite impressed with the quality of the video considering the kingfisher only filled one square of the sensors.  Anyway the video is here and as you can see I had to film through some low hanging twigs

Great stuff - a new toy is always good fun. I agree with PJJ - a tripod next time! Unless you were on a boat ;) ;)
