Thanks. I agree with your suggestion. Could be sped up a bit for smoother flow of the image frames.
I needed to try the time lapse devise (cable release timer) purchased a couple of months ago. This
is the one I purchased. Clouds a are great subjects but you have to think it through and have a vague idea of the how they will develop and where they are going.
You need a lot of time and shoot a lot of frames. This was shot at one frame every 10 seconds which seems about right but as you said they could be played back faster so the 50 minutes of clouds would play back in (let's say) 15 seconds. At these rates, it would take close to four hours to shoot one minute (72 seconds) of video.
I should read up on this and try it again. A moon rise might be nice...
Was please with the $30 gizmo. It seemed confusing to set up at first, but I read the instructions and for basic time lapse it can be set in a few seconds. It can also be set up for timed delay.
