Fud- that's unfair! This is an image that only golfers can identify- which flipping holes are you talking about anyhow :-[

Stef.

Not really you can determine what golf event it is from the fact it is in the UK and who the main sponsor is.  From that you can find the location and course and then other information in the picture will enable you to find the correct hole!  And just a little extra help it was from this year.  :)

In interest of getting the event moving, I kept searching more and more in the internet.

Like I said in the previous post I believe it is PAR 4 the first number. The second and third most likely mean distance to hole depending how good you are.

So using the above I narrowed it to hole 13 (on the west course) Hole 15  (on the edinburgh course).

All of this found at http://www.wentworthclub.com/hole/30/

FUD if you have other website that include golf courses maps and descriptions it would be most welcome!

Unfortunately, the wenworth home page does not offer distance in m. Only in yards. This is the best I can do.

Yep - The BMW logo tells you that it was the BMW PGA Championship on the West Course at Wentworth.  The 5 at the end of the hole length and the fact that is a par 4 tells you that it is the third hole as it is the only par 4 on the course with the 5 at the end of the yardage.

So over to you Panoramix

TG said "Primary school" Hilarious... :P :D I was going to write "Seasame Street"

Well I assume it is yardage markers at another golf course.

My bathroom scales perhaps? ... well maybe not.

My IQ? (Ditto.)

Stef.

No it is not a bow and arrow shooting place but it is a place where sports are played.

I mean, I could have gone bunkers with it and request time, date and angle used to take the picture.

Yes, number has meanings (but don't think it will be clear to all). I would focus more on what's inside the numbers...

My Dear Clive, no it is not your Bathroom scale!

To make it easy, the place is in the continental US. I am sure most of you have passed around the place but never actually went in.  However, Clive is right in that it is sport related.
