The Official: "My Street" thread

I guess I am a voyeur. I'd like to see the street-road-lane you live on. Don't need to see your house--if you wish--but just curious about your street. Here's the street I live on...our house is tucked behind the tree--middle left.

taken at about midnight on dec 31 a year and a half ago...

looks like the neighbours' music won't be a problem there!

After seeing this, I looked up my place on google earth, but the resolution of the images covering Australia are not as good (yet, they're working on it now) :(

haha, not one to copy an idea but....

Our house backs on to the railway station carpark, is across the road from a reitrement village (the orange rooves) and alomst next door to a nursing home (big grey roof) so the kids have us mapped out that we will only have to move within 100m for the rest of our lives!!!!!  The big white things in our backyard are shade sails over the pool (fair English complexion doesn't do too well outdoors here).  It's a reasonably old pic though (I would date it for late 2000) because we have trees in our backyard (as opposed to the car park) and a shed and there isn't anywhere near enough parked cars... they now park down as far as the 2 white dots near the bottom of the pic!  All for the damn train and often OVER my driveway (the walkway to the station is next to us)!!!!!!

Okay, here's my house. Tried doing one of my street. But the homes are way to far off the street. Didn't think you guys would like to see just street lights. Oh, I got me an A700 the other day. All I can say is WOW.

Visited North Carolina a few years ago and stayed with friends in a similar looking house.  I suppose you are not that far away in Georgia - or are you?!

Hope you enjoy the a700 - I got mine about 3 weeks ago and IT IS GREAT!!   I totally agree with your WOW comment - look forward to seeing some images from it soon.  :-)

A new perspective...was messing with the new CZ1680 today and took this in the park across the road. My street/house is behind the spruce trees. Jazzed up the colors a tad in PS.
