Braided radiator hose is close - function correct in that it is indeed a flexible hose that holds a liquid but not a coolant

Maybe I'm being a tad pedantic here here but its household rather than automotive or aeronautical

Flexible Hot water hose - eg to connect a shower pump to copper pipes.

Faldrex beat me to it. I don't know what a shower pump is but it looks like the flex line from the water pipe to my sink.

F16Jock You must be the same age or close. My Bro is in his 21st year 18USAF took early retirement then signed another 20 with the ANG.

It's not a button (of either kind).

To me it looks like a blown out tire. Hard to tell very noisy on my screen.

Not a blown tyre or ring pull .

It's a 100% crop of a 1:1 macro - the material has a very speckled surface close up, which is why it looks noisy (that, and the fact that I had to rush around to find something to photo and post in the 1/2 hour I had spare, knowing I wouldn't get a chance to 2-3 days otherwise, so not the finest photo I've ever taken:-)
