Too easy :D

Its the cap over the lens, not the 'lens cap' but the end of the lens that attaches to the camera body.

It looks like it is metal with a flap of some type - is it something like a mailbox?

Ooops.  I looked at this and guessed it right straight away.  But the images are usually so obsquire that I though it would not possibly be that easy!

Two pieces of metal riveted together..??  :)  Rob, I also think it's a hole punch!  (can't think of anything else!)
