O.K. This one is from my exhibition "The Long Way Home". It is shot in Cuba and shows fishermen setting free little turtles.

Now the clue is the title of the exhibition: the long way home...

A long way home. This lady and her children walked (probably) several km to a gift distribution in a nearby village.

Soooooooooo ... how about a shot of ... hummm... FEET. Yes. A shot in which feet are prominent.

HA HA ... I am okay. I am sitting here working and enjoy the comic relief here. I am writing (slowly) on a research report that is due on Jan 10. I have to be wrapped by about Jan 8 to get it printed and bound to take with me to a presentation meeting on Jan 10. I will work right up till C'mas eve, take 2 days off and start back seriously on Dec 27 when the company has gone. Crap, I should retire! Hell, I AM retired!?! But it is winter here and the money is very good. The 2-month (part time) gig will pay for our brand new van and some other stuff and there should be enough left over for a SAL 70200. :)

Winter? Holy cow it is wicked here right now...Observed at: Lethbridge County Airport 9:00 PM MST Saturday 22 December 2007 Drifting Snow Temperature 1°C Wind W 71 km/h gust 80 km/h Not cold, but check the wind.

And you?

Okay .. this is my BIL climbing on rocks at low tide on Saltspring Island, BC. Let's see? He's a retired copper...ex mountie...RCMP. So how about some sort of official badge?

Thought it was your winter, we have a minor heat wave happening here, 32c today with 36c & 38c forecast for the next couple of days then back into the lower 30's for the rest of the week.

Official badge mmmm has me stumped i will have to get back to you on that one, or someone could save me the trouble and post something up, WAKE UP you lot  :D

Sign:

This was a warning sign we saw in Spain, where the highways suddenly ascends

I took the shot through the window as we drove past at somewhat higher speed than the numbers indicated on the sign ;)

Next image relates to speed

well this is a mirror carp, and unlike most fish only has a few scales
caught from a local reservoir.

So the next one, how about a lake/river
