Congratulations Garry, a great photo and a well done to the runners up, all super photos

Actually, just so that you all know our system, no one person picks the POTM. All the mods nominate photos as they notice them throughout the month and they all go into a single file (that you guys/girls cannot see). At the end of the month we each pick what we believe to be the best six photos, awarding points from 6 to 1. Our choices are based on photographic excellence. When voting is finished, the photo with the highest point count is declared the winner. No individual can influence this voting and the winner is simply the best photo. It is all a very democratic process without politicians messing it up. :D
