Well deserved that man, one question if I may - what set up / glass did you use as when I go for macro's I never get anything that sharp or that close.

David, it is a sony 100mm macro with 3 extention tubes at f13 odd. It is a bit long and unweildy int he field and i dont usually get so sharp results out of it either (perhaps one in 500 shots). The sigma 105 gave me more consistantly good results, so i am not sure what it is with this lens, probably that I am just not used to it, but the insect was in bright sunlight from the left and lit with twin flash with diffusers so it probably helped a bit. I wish I could say what made it sharp this time too as it would be pretty usefull next time :).
