care to share
« on: April 27, 2007, 01:29:52 PM »
care to share 3 of your favorite photos you have taken in the last year or so, doesn't matter what.
no bedroom shots though...
here are my 3

If I pushed a copy of myself off a cliff because he was swearing could I be charged with making an obscene clone fall?

Nothing to spectacular but these are my favourites from the last 12 months.

All taken with the alpha and each has had some degree of photoshop work

Sorry never left any feedback on the other postings last time so here goes,

5DandMe

I like all these shots but number two is the best for me this is the sort of shot I would love to get.

tpe

Number one is great I love to take macro flower shots but have never really managed to get one I could say I was proud of well done.

keith_h

Number two is my fave I tried this sort of effect on some shots I took last year when one of our local seaside towns was turned into World war II Dunkirk for a Movie.

Three four favourites of mine (ok, sorry, couldn't choose... even though I restricted myself to Macros only):

| Bee mimic hover fly. Taken on a camping trip last October in Halls Gap, Victoria. |
| KM 5D + Min 100/2.8 M | f 3.5 | 1/200 sec |

| Refracted images in the droplets after rain, taken in my girlfriend's back yard, February this year. |
| KM 5D + Min 100/2.8 M | f 13 | 1/40 sec |

| Taken while bush walking on a hot day, where unseasonal snow had fallen a couple of days earlier, November 06 |
| KM 5D + Min 100/2.8 M | f 9 | 1/640 sec |

| Gumnuts. Taken on the same camping trip as the hoverfly. |
| KM 5D + Min 100/2.8 M | f 3.5 | 1/320 sec |

Nice idea for a thread :)

This is a tricky one, I've got a few that I proud of, but out of those, these have also got the best feedback from others:
sigma 70-300

tamron 90 macro

coolpix 4500

Gazraa, I have to say that your direction of the model in your final of the three is suberb, wonderfull eye contact ;) Seriously though, the last image is simply fantastic.

Thanks :)

It didn't hang around long enough to sign my model release form though, so I was unsure whether to include the image or not :D
