Japanese has 5 alphabets, not including older Chinese script. Two of the alphabets have 44 characters, even though Japanese only really has five vowels. Chinese is estimated to have about 80,000 characters, which coincidentally is one estimate of the size of the English vocabulary. So, luckily, we're not doing the A-Z in the Chinese alphabet. :D

Anyway, I've tallied up the number of entries, and Chappo came out on top. I've PM'ed him, and gave him the choice to choose a theme. He will also post the next "A" :)

Have fun in the next round.
