Supermoon info plz guys/gals?

As im sure most of you are aware the moon is rather large tonight! i would like to take a few pics!
any tips etc or settings

equipment tamron 70mm-300m plus a x2 teleplus converter and standard sony 18-55 lens!

Set the speed to 1s F16 Tripod, Steadyshot off, Manual focus on Infinity

You will need to use a shutter speed of 1/125 sec and start at f/11.
Id focus manually rather than just setting it to infinity. If you dont have a cable release, then use the 2 or 10 second timer.

I used my Alpha 200 in auto setting. The lens was my Tamron AF 70-300 mm set to infinity. I got a reflection on the lower left of the picture. Why did this happen?

As said in another thread the benchmark settings are: ISO200 / 1/125s @f8. Preferably manual focusing as Rob suggested. You should not differ to much from these settings as if you use a longer shutter speed you WILL get a blurred moon. The moon is much brighter as it seems to the nacked eye! If you use the above settings you should get pretty close to what I assume you want to achieve.
