HI 200
« on: June 19, 2006, 02:07:17 PM »
Hi,

I currently have thte ISO set at 100. Or was it auto... I think it was 100.

Anyway, what I'd like to know is whether setting it to HI200 is a good idea or not?

Any experiemtns/experiences with it not being set against those that were photo quality wise?

I love HI200! For bright sunny days in nature this setting really helps you avoid blown highlights. I find myself using Hi200 as much as I can. It seems to work very well. I have heard that ISO200 on the Minolta's produces more detail than ISO 100. I don't know about that for a fact but I do know Hi200 is a great feature to use and I certainly do use it alot.

cheers
