These third party lens hoods are not designed to work with specific lenses. If it is the rubber type you can easily cut a bit off the front of the cap to shorten it as the problem is simply that it is too long and is intruding into the cone of light being gathered by the lens. As the focal length increases, say to 22mm, the vignetting may go away, however the lens cap will no longer be so effective at increased focal lengths where fortunately it is less or no longer required.
