Sony A350
« on: October 07, 2015, 05:34:26 PM »
I`ve been searching Sony UK for info about firmware  but failed to find anything.

Does anyone know if there have been any firmware updates for the A350 please?

I successfully put version 1.04 in my A100 but I`m damned if I can remember how to do it.

As far as I remember there never was a firmware update for the a350 or its sibling the a300. I never owned either if these so not 100% but I'm pretty sure that is the case.

Doing a Google search for 'Sony a350 firmware update' brought up a few links that said that the a350 didn't have any updates for the firmware.

I have owned the A350 since the release and no... there were no firmware updates.

Not perfect, but at the time it had the highest resolution APS-C sensor on the market and both internal image stabilization AND live view, as well as a hinged LCD. All were cutting edge for DSLRs regardless of price.

The image quality is still good compared to modern cameras, though the ISO performance doesn't stand up to todays standards.
There are people who actually think LENS stabilization is better than sensor shifting!
