you should be able to mount the receivers to the pc sync socket on the flash and use the transmiter with a hotshoe adapter seing as the transmitter just has the center "FIRE" contact
There aren't any 'pc sync sockets' on the 5600HSD or HVL-56AM - just KM/Sony's proprietary '4 pin sync plug' and 'external power plug'.
So as far as I can tell, either a special cable (4 pin proprietary to pc sync) or a hotshoe for the flash (which includes pc sync triggering) would be required (which I can't find either!)
Heres what I do with the Gadget Infinity cactus triggers:
FS1100 on the camera shoe with transmitter on top, at the flash end the receiver has a pc sync lead attatched to a 'copy' FS-1100 with pc sync port, on the 'copy' FS-1100 is a Minolta OC-1000 and this connects to the 5600hsd, which masters my sigma 500 wireless flash.
Otherwise I use the trigger and receivers for my Vivtars.
And yes, I too wish the shoes were standard as it would make it soo much easier to use triggering systems without all the hasle of adapter leads etc. Or if Sony make a wireless commanda a la Nikon, then this would be a good move to keep people with the Sony/Minolta flash units.
