Temptation resisted
« on: October 27, 2008, 10:26:06 AM »
It was very hard but I managed to resist blowing a whole load of money at the weekend.

Was at London Camera Exchange in Norwich (UK) picking up a bigger tripod bag for the new head and thought I'd have a peer through the 900 with the 24-70 lens on.

WOW!!!

What a beautiful view.  I thought about it for all of about 2 seconds and then the sensible side of me took over. If you're going to do the same, make sure you have iron willpower.

Will have to keep saving though :-)

LOL CLive - if only.

Nope - I just couldn't bring myself to spend £2,700 at this stage. Was seriously tempting though.

Yep - price tag is huge. And that's just for the camera - never mind the kit that you need to make the most of it.

Happy with my 700 at the moment. Would rather spend the money (if I'm going to spend it) on something else.

If the camera had a smaller grip, then I might consider to buy it and forget my next holiday to Alaska.
I was born and brought up in Iran, a beautiful country full of history.
