With a title like that, I wondered what I was in for! :)

I wish I wish I wish I could afford an a900, but it's just not going to happen. I'll be looking to get an a700 sometime soonish, but the a900 is just out of my league :(

Wish I'd been on that boat, too :D

There was one remark further down which was itneresting namely the statement that the A700 with the 135 should produce similar results. On the other hand with a full frame sensor you have to get closer to your subject matter therefore the DoF becomes even shallower?
Anyhow pretty good results! Still I am holding back- I want to see more tests first.

STF with a 700 is not a mediocre combo either...

Can you imagine being able to try all those - would have been an expensive day out. :).  One thing from those photos gave me an idea with taking my cameras to sports events - stick camouflage tape all over the white bits so it's not so obvious.

I have been keeping an eye out on eBay for a STF but haven't seen any come up at all recently and it also reminded me that I need to contact the bloke in america who was considering selling me his minolta 16mm fisheye.
