Same question here, I would love to get it but I just come from the Leica X2 and although it has great IQ it lacks focus tracking and I had a lot of missed shots shooting my 3,5 year old. I understand you can't compare a compact with a SLR camera but nevertheless some decent performance is expected for such a price tag.
I noticed other brands catching on fast with Nikon Coolpix A and the Ricoh GR/V (both Sony sensors I believe, the Nikon for sure) but would love to go for the high end for the simple fact that the output is still a cut above the rest.
I no longer own a SLR set but I need something compact as I sold off my Minolta TC1 as well. I thought it would be easily replaced but digital is still not up to par with an old legend from the yesteryears so it seems, how ironic.
RX1, anyone? Thanks!
