there are a few odd comments in this review - they say that one of the advantages of in lens stabilisation is that you can upgrade it when you change your lens

Well he ain't a minolta user is he !

Some of my lenses have been through 3 bodies and I'll bet some people here can beat that comfortably

My investment is glass is 4x my investment in bodies and I'll bet many here can beat that as well

I could indeed beat all that, not that long ago, but it´s fair to say the α900 had a severe impact on the ratio, though... ;-)

Hmnn, definately not a Sony fan !
Why on earth would you test it with the lens they did, and then compare it to a top of the line canon lens on the 5D mkII as mentioned in one of the replies.

Yeah..my 500 Mirror (1990) and 100 macro (ca 1995) have seen these five bodies:
8000i (still have ;)
700si (destroyed in accident...ooops)
Maxxum 7 (replaced 700si and sold when got 7D)
KM 7D (still have and used the other day..even posted a picture here from it.)
A700 (still have ;) )
