Live View Device

Anyone tried these things?

It looks really useful to me but I was wondering if any members had used them.

Never seen or heard of such an item before. If it works, I'm sure there'll be a few folks here who would be interested in it. Check out the seller's feedback. A lot of problems recently.
JapanesePhotos.Asia; Some basic photographic how to's.
Sony the200, Minolta 28mm 2.8, 50mm 1.4, 70-300mm Gregarious, 100mm 2.8 macro.

I looked through the sellers feedback (all the negative and neutral responses) and didn't see anything specifically about this product. Most comments were about late delivery of filters etc.

Was I looking in the wrong place? Can you post some of the feedback you've seen on this product please?

I'd really like for this to work as it would be a real bonus for some of my shots.
I shot the UCI World Trials Championships in New Zealand (trials bicycles) last year and could have used it then to get better shots close in without disturbing the competitors.
I have the World Single Speed Championships coming up in a couple of months in Rotorua Forest, New Zealand and can see it would equally be a bonus there.

...

I wasn't looking for feedback on that particular product, but some customers have received the wrong product, not received it at the 43 day mark (I don't know what's special about 43 days, eBay assumes you've received it and they send a final reminder to leave feedback?) Customers have tried to contact them and couldn't get through. I can't tell you what you should do, but I'd either avoid Foto4Easy and look for another seller with the same product, or use a PayPal account (for best protection) and hope for the best. However, I'm not a eBay user, so I don't really know the value of the negetive responses in for 11000 good ones actually means for a seller.

Update: Here is a list of sellers and sales listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/Wired-Live-View-Remote-Control-Shutter-F-Sony-A700-A900-/110512058049?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Camera_Camcorder_Remotes&hash=item19bb082ec1

Taken on board winjeel.

I'd still like to hear from people who have these things before I shell out close to $200 for one (currency converted and shipped to New Zealand with an extra profit margin added I expect)
