« on: November 16, 2014, 07:40:43 AM »
When doing a studio shoot for example, and I have my iso down, apeture up and shutter at 1/160 ready for using strobes, the viewport is dark, which makes it very difficult to focus, Im sure there is a way around this???

Yes there is. You have to go into the menu system and turn the setting effect off (liveview display). I.e turning your viewfinder into a more conventional one. I don't have the a6000 so I'm not sure exactly where this is within your menu system. Hopefully Rex or someone else will b along to help.

On my a77 which is to hand. Pressing menu I have to navigate along to the little cog on top row. You will find within this something saying 'live view display' or similar. Select this and your options are setting effect on or off. Turn it off for studio work. Hope you can understand this.

Yes Chris82 you are right  :) i always turn it off when i am going to use the camera at night sports. ALL SLT and mirroless have this option in menu.
