Sony Alpha 200 LCD Screen Broken.

Hi guys. My Sony Alpha 200 camera's LCD Screen was broken. I ordered another screen from ebay, I fixed it my self. It started working. But the screen was a bit too tight. So I opened it again to fix it, but unfortunately the module that was attached to the screen got broken. There was a very thin black thing which was used to hold the ribbon which is broken. I think it cant be fixed, so I need to know if I could find a replacement for that module. I can upload a picture of that module. It has got a number written on it. I dont know if its the model number for this module. The number is 1-873-844-12. Please have a look at it.

Hi and welcome to the forum
I think you'll need to contact a sony repair centre at this point - a very much doubt that that's a user-obtainable part :(

I dont know if this helps, (its the same part number) but very expensive. If the body is still covered by a warranty it would be worth looking into it.

Might be best to look out for a faulty one on ebay for parts. I doubt it would be economical to try to fix with new parts (a goo boxed secondhand 200 is £200)
