Which display grid do you use?
« on: March 11, 2012, 12:17:53 PM »
The A65/A77 allows a choice of 3 different kind grid for composition.

a) 3X3 Rule of thirds
b) 4X4 two 45 degree lines passing thru the center
3) 6x4 grid that simplifies the alignment of multiple visual elements

I currently use the first. Would like to know what other users prefer?

cheers,
Rui

Yeah, I use the first as well. Not used the others.

Have you been using the level finder? I don't use it for everyday use, BUT it is very handy when using the flip down LCD monitor with the camera on a tripod and you are viewing at an awkward angle. VERY useful at times.

3x3 rule of thirds. My Little Panasonic is set the same.

It just makes composition easier

I use the spirit level 90% of the time. I used to think that it was me that was at fault and caused all those wonky horizons......now I know it was........  :-[
