A77II af module

Now that we have holydays and I have more free time I found the time to investigate some pictures I have taken with a77II. Through the program (PIE) http://www.dynaxdigital.com/other-photography-equipment/pie-(picture-information-extractor)-24466/  I manage to find out the how Sony is numbering the AF sensors.Here is the layout of AF module. The bold numbers are cross type sensors and the bold in bracket is the f2.8 sensor

When I used the wide area the camera choose automatically some sensors that think this is important for the subject ( sometimes wrong choice made made the camera)

When I used Zone the camera used only one sensor from the 9 (Zone). Very accurate)

When I used expand flexible spot then again the camera used only one sensor from the chosen zone. Very accurate

When I was using The lock-on AF (Wide/Zone/Centre /flexible spot/expand flexible spot) no chance to evaluate since the camera choose the appropriate sensor

Nice...
There are people who actually think LENS stabilization is better than sensor shifting!
