Hi Guys new to this site
from what i've read there will be someone out there to help, I have a question is there any way of over riding the pre set ISO range in the A55V, so you can use third increments and if so how to action. Gazza

Welcome Gary.

Go here:

http://friedmanarchives.com/alpha55/index.htm

Gary Friedman is one of... if not THE best 3rd party camera manual writers in the business. His books are extremely comprehensive, yet extremely well written with detailed explanations of every feature and function of your camera in plain, easy to understand language.

He is literally a rocket scientist and inventor who loves Minolta/Sony cameras and it shows.

Check out the web site and see if it's something you are interested in... and good luck!

There are people who actually think LENS stabilization is better than sensor shifting!

Welcome Gary, good to see that you received some instant help.  My wife has an A55 and the Gary Friedman book.  I could have looked it up for you but you can look it up yourself if you have downloaded a copy.
What interests me is why you would want to make such small changes to the ISO? ... john
