Super shot.
Your short focal length is giving nice separation and good 3D look.
The birds are interacting , looking at each other and you have good eye contact.  You have a closed loop- from the branch to first bird, up and across then down.
The branch itself could do with some darkening but otherwise no suggestions from me....john

Crop Sensor Sony Alpha Camera Discussion / Re: Variable ND Filter
« Last post by chappo1 on February 03, 2018, 09:25:53 PM »
I have one too but have used it once or twice only.
I am rather conflicted.  I do not like the idea of a filter holder on the camera so thought I would go with a variable screw on one.  It works but I am not really a landscape photographer so it has only had a couple of outings....... john

Bought one a few years ago.  I found with the one I got it was fine when starting to go darker.  Then when getting close to maximum you would get a lighter spot appearing in the final image.
Not sure if this affects all or if this was due to the cheap ebay version I bought.

Sony Alpha SLT Camera Discussion / How to use Sony a77ii as webcam/Facebook Live
« Last post by jasona77ii on January 30, 2018, 02:56:34 AM »
Hello,

I have a Sony a77ii. I have been researching how to connect it to a PC in order to use it as a webcam for Facebook Live.

Is there a simple way to this? It seems that I need a $200-$300 broadcast card for the Sony to work.

Canon and Nikon DSLR's have a free software called Sparkocam that allows them to be compatible without a broadcast card. They simply connect via USB or HDMI.

Always good to see your young ladies and nice light in the eyes.
Improvement suggestions from me- some pink somewhere else in the outfit to tie it all together.  Lipstick, a hair tie a pink flower ....john

You have captured the 3 D look with that combo.  The longer lens would flatten the image out  but this look to be 3 D to my eye.   I can usually never get close enough to birs with anything less than a 300mm...john
