I have been told about this place where they can supply adaptors to let me use M42  lens` on the A700/350 and 7d.

Has anyone heard off/bought from them in the past?

Yes, i have used them in the past and they have been around for a number of years now.
I had excellent service from them.

cheers Rob, by the look of the one in the image, there is no glass to cause any loss of quality, so I assume that it has been machined to give the correct distance for a lens to focus to infinity.

i may get one of these to give the Pentacon 50mm f1.8 a try that I was given as part of some spare gear froma friend.

They have been in business for as long as I can remember and are very reliable. I've never seen a M42 adapter with a correction lens.
