I have ordered a new
toy printer, the Epson sure color P-600 A3+ pigment ink printer.
It is a convoluted story but I ordered 4 boxes of 6x4 Ilford paper to continue printing albumn shots of the grandkids. When there is a decent shot I have to print Multiple copies for "Nana" (mrs C), Auntie, Mom and now, we gave the 4 yo a little albumn for her birthday and she wants a picture for her book too.
Anyway that is why 4 boxes but, unknown to me, I did it at a time when there was an Ilford promotion on and an A4 box of special sample papers turned up. Cotton rag, Gold fibre and stuff.
One goes to the website to download the profiles and none for the 7 year old Epson stylus Photo R2400.
Epson are offering a $300 cash back until mid Nov here but I was being strong. Well, still looking around, one of the local photography suppliers have the P600 on special for $130 off the best price from the others so $130 off and then $300 cash back tipped me over the edge.
I plan to keep the 2400 and use the gloss black and run the P600 with matt black until I have used up my stock of inks.
Christmas is on the way folks
I forgot to say the Free sample pack is worth about $15 !!!!!
