DIY - Simple lens changing bag
« on: February 18, 2012, 03:35:56 PM »
SONY gave me 14 scratch and win coupons when I got my CZ lens and NEX 5 last year and all prizes turned out to be plastic bags :-( :-( :-(
We gave some to others and used for storing things or carry lunch box to office. Still a couple of them left and made it a 'lens changing bag'

The bag

Turned over, cut a window on one side and stuck a plastic sheet with Scotch doubel sided tape.changing lens inside.

Maybe can reduce ingress of dust in camera.

Good idea, and also when it's raining, you can use this to cover the camera in the few minutes you don't use it,
or change lens during rain.
By the way, is that the alpha 580? received mine 3 days ago.

Didi

I didn't think about using it as a "rain cover", good idea. This bag is only a short time rated for rain as the cloth is not water proof.

Yes,  it is my new A580.

Caution!!! One thing that just came into my mind is the static charge associated with plastics. If it enters the camera it's doomed.
