A silly Canon man...

Today, while I was taking shots of lovely european wolves, some guy was doing the same thing nearby. He was, bless him, using the pop-up flash on his Canon D... something or other. Now, I'm not really a flash person, but I'm quite sure that the wee tiny pop-up flash was doing him no good when the wolves were about 20-30 meteres away and in broad daylight. He was also relying on AF, which whirred away forever and ever unable to find a lock... Switch to manual, for the love of...

Well, I hope he got that photo he desired.

Saying that I didn't get a great wolf shot today, but a few good deer with the 5D and the 100-400 4.5/6.7  :)

The very fact that you can actually come across wolves (albeit 20-30 metres away from you) makes me extremely jealous.

The pop up flash on the 7D works great when controlling an off camera flash or two.  :D
