Screen Protector
« on: September 05, 2013, 09:40:40 PM »
Hi everyone, can anyone recommend a screen protector for the Nex-6.

I didn't particularly want glass as when I ordered a glass one for my A-77 it arrived broken.

Anyone used the Sony one?

Thanks for any help.

The Sony screen protector for the A77 is not glass, its a clear thick flexible sheet. The glass ones are third party and very thin to enable them to fit between the screen and camera rear when closed. I don't know what the Nex-6 screen protector is as I can't find it on the Sony Canada website.

You can get clear acetate to put on the rear of your camera. You can buy a pack in the camera store or phone store and cut it to your liking. I have none on my Nex5 and so far no scratches. The problem with anything on the back of your camera is that over time they get filthy and then it is hard to judge what is and what isn't in focus.
