I'd like to have a go with one, see how I got on. I dont know if they have sorted the AF out on A mount lenses with the adapter but that would be a big swaying point.

I have a NEX-5 with 18-55mm lens, bought as soon as UK stock arrived. I've written a review for WarehouseExpress (http://blog.warehouseexpress.com/sony-alpha-nex-5) with sample pics. I also have a blog for NEX users at http://nextended.com.

Personally, I love the little camera. Indeed, for most purposes, it is better than my a200.

Feel free to throw any questions you'd like at me.

I also  have a lot of nex stuff on my alpha blog as well. A good friend has a nex 5 that i've used a lot. I'm waiting to see if they bring out a nex 7 or an a99 next year before i decide on anything personally.


The reason I asked is the forum seems very quiet about them

I have no real interest (yet...) to buy one. I always regret when I used a compact camera instead of my high end equipment. One question please: I do know that with an adapter you can use all the other lenses that you use with your dSLR but do the lenses work the usual way or do you have to manually focus? Any other issues with these lenses?
