People who live in the UK.

How does a a700 for £250 sound?

Well im not gonna try and sell you some dodgy website but Currys now have these as a clearance item.  £274.97 for a new body only.  I got an ex display one from PC World (Same company as Currys) for £249.97 (extra 10% for being a display).  Now i found out about this from a bargain website.  They are quickly selling out as you know at this price its a steal.

Its instore only as its not listed on the website.  So find your local one and ask them about it.  Be sure to ask for a 'Sony Alpha 700' as a Sony A700 doesnt come up on thier PC's.

The copy i got has some marks on the screen which can easily be removed.  And the bottom on the metal casing is slightly rubbed, but nothing too bad.  Again for the price you can't really complain.

Apologies as i'm assuming this is the wrong section, i cant currently post in the for sale section.  Please move it if need be.

Jon

If you know anyone in the UK who could possibly get one for you i would do that.  From what im gathering from the forum i got the info from each store had around 1-2, and they are quickly selling out.

Even if they buy it and you dont like the condition they still have the complete returns policy available, so getting you money back shouldn't be a problem.

Not that I'm going to buy one but I'm curious to what that price translates to in US dollars
