Where do we upload for the Monthly Challenges?
« on: December 28, 2013, 04:00:42 PM »
This is still a major enigma for me. I must be stupid or something but after 35 years in IT and development, this forum site remains one of the most difficult to maneuver around. What am I missing here? Someone please help. Thanks.

Hi Pierre,

The forum software/system is commonly used around the world.

To share images you can either use the upload function by clicking 'Attachments and other option' under the text box area or use image tags to link to where the image may be hosted.

Thanks Dave, but you missed my entire context of "where". I do not see any links nor is the upload function even working as confirmed whomever answers the messages on the Facebook page for the forum. You can only post pics though Flkr or Photobucket or some other pic-sharing site.  And yes, this is a common PHP based forum software of which I am quite familiar with but this site is froth with glitches.

Can someone please provide me with proper info? Thank you.

Pierre,

I hope I have the correct context this time! There are no links to the challenges, they are posted as threads within the Monthly Challenges section, to enter an image open the challenge and either use the attach option (which has worked for me in the past) or use image tags pointing to the images location as you have already done in the images to share section.

If you asking where as in flickr/photobucket, thats up to you.

As for the facebook page, a mod would be better paced to answer that.

I would say that you have the context this time Dave :)

OK, so I'll wait for the next contest of the month and try my luck against some amazing photographers here.  Thanks.
