... if you go to Lake Louse again you will have to come see me. I live 4 hours away out on the plains to the SE. Lake Louise is very pretty for sure, but I think there are "better" places because they have fewer people and no development.

Let me know.

Cheers!

Thanks for the offer - I agree with you about other quieter lakes and areas but unfortunately most of those were still frozen solid at the time (wanted to see spirit island but the lake was still completely frozen) but still got some spectacular mountain landscapes.  Luckily didn't stay at the monstrosity of Lake Louise Hotel but at Deer Lodge ( the old wooden hotel just before it) and spent a week driving from Calgary to Banff to Lake Louise to Jasper to Edmonton and then flew on to Vancouver for 3 days.  I have a possible reflection to enter in to the competition of a storm coming in over Vancouver taken across the water from Stanley Park in black and white that I might scan in, but being black and white film it is very grainey.

I suppose it was inevitable (sp?) that going on a holiday canoeing on lakes would result in some reflection images. Here's my first effort:

Straight from my Nikon Coolpix 4500 withough any photoshoppery. Click on it for larger versions.

this is my final submission for reflections,. This was taken at the season launch of the V8Supercars at Southbank, which is where World Expo 88 was held in Brisbane

If I pushed a copy of myself off a cliff because he was swearing could I be charged with making an obscene clone fall?

The unlevelled picture was done purposely to give the impression you are indeed in sat in the back of an open top Land Rover, Chobe National Park, Botswana, Africa.

:-)  If you believe that, you’ll believe anything   :-)
