Challenge #56 TREES
« on: October 31, 2011, 07:31:55 PM »

The November challenge is now open.

We need pictures of trees. How hard can that be? ;)

We expect to see a variety of tree photographs in which a tree or trees is/are the main subject. You don’t need a whole forest, but this challenge is about a tree or trees versus just pretty autumn leaves. ;)

You do not have limit yourselves to ONLY trees—you might show some people or animals as well—whatever works for you. But trees have to be the main subject, versus merely a prop.  For example, in the finalist selection, I’d not consider an image like this one because the tree is merely a prop.

General guidelines
A maximum of four entries per forum member are allowed and should be posted in this thread. Please do not include photos that were submitted in previous challenges.

Maximum image size is 800 pixels on the longest side, and 200KB in file size. Entries larger than this will not be considered for short-listing. (Contributors will be asked to re-post).

Entries close on Wednesday November 30 at ~ 5 PM MST, or about midnight GMT.

Please note the standard challenge rules and posting guidelines. See here…

To ensure fair voting, please remember there can be no comments on submissions. Comments on submissions will be deleted without discussion.

LET’S SEE YOUR TREES.  GOOD LUCK TO ALL. Please post your images by "replying" to this post.

Thanks

Clive

Please can somebody explain - in very simple stages for my brain! - how do I resize these images in Flickr so that they do not come up so small here?

As a temporary solution if anyone wants to resize these ones for me - would be very grateful.

I am a very challenged IT or is that challenging It idiot!

Many thanks

Hols
