Challenge #47 for February 2011, 'Speed`is now open.
This months challenge is not about pictures of drugs, or what you may be growing in your basement, as some of you may have expected.
No! it is simply about taking photos of anything that involves, or conveys a sense of speed. It could be panning the camera to stop the motion, as shown in my example photo below. Conversely it could be not panning the camera to stop the motion. You could use rear flash sync to provide a sense of motion or simply a photo where you have used a very high shutter speed to stop the motion (please indicate the speed used). Not really as simple as I make out, it could be a very difficult challenge and may require a high measure of imagination.
We want to see what some of you great photogs can come up with and for those just learning to use a camera, here is a chance to show what you are really made of and become an instant celebrity.

A maximum of 4 entries per forum member are allowed and should be posted in this thread. Simply "reply" to this post to make your submissions. Please do not include photos that were submitted in previous challenges. You may however post photos that have been previously posted on this or any other forum, but not photos in the current month.
Maximum image size is 800 pixels on the longest side, and as close as you can get to 200KB in file size. Entries considerably larger than 200KB will not be considered for short-listing. (Contributors will be asked to re-post).
Entries close on Monday February 28th at 2200hrs EST. (Tuesday March 1st at 0300hrs UK time).
Including EXIF info (shutter speed, aperture, focal length, camera model, lens, etc) is not mandatory but is encouraged and welcomed.
