Challenge #21 December 2008 'Two Colours'

Now Open ! challenge #21. The Challenge for December 2008 is 'Two Colours'

The definition of 'Two Colours' for this months challenge, are as follows :-

Ideally the image should be made up of Two Colours (See image below) or have Two dominant colours that would cover at least 80-90% of the image.

Black and Gold


This image is for demonstration purposes only and not part of this months challenge. Many thanks to Clive for the use of this image.

Also eligible for inclusion in this months challenge would be traditional 'Duotone' images.
Duotone is traditionally a technique associated with a printing process whereby a Black and White or Grayscale image is toned with a single colour in Photoshop or similar prior to printing.

If you have any queries or require clarification on this challenge, please PM myself, or one of the moderation team.

A maximum of 4 entries per forum member are allowed and should be posted in this thread.

Maximum image size is 800 pixels on the longer side, and 200 KB in size - entries larger than this will not be considered for short-listing (contributors will be asked to re-post).

Entries close at 8.00 pm (ish) on December 30th (UK Time)

Including EXIF info (shutter speed, aperture, focal length, camera model, lens, etc) is not mandatory but is encouraged and welcomed.

Please note the standard challenge rules and posting guidelines.

Please remember there can be no comments on people's submissions for the challenges (to keep the voting fair). Comments on submissions will be deleted without discussion.

This entry relies on two main colors: yellow and shades of purple. A prairie crocus.

I've been away from here for months - too much studying, barely any photography. I did snatch up the A200 on the way to the local bonfire and fireworks show last month, though:
