A new challenge - The Moon

right people, as there aren't that many entries yet I am extending this challenge a while longer.

I am also going to create a challenge forum so people can put theire entries in there rather than the album. It will also make commenting on them a bit easier.

Don't forget, there's a t-shirt with the new design on offer for the image I think deserves it most....

So what did the close date get changed to? the moon here is a bit awkward, it only really comes out twice a month :) and even then it is usually covered in cloud. but there is a chance it will be around soonish, the wife has started grownign hairs again so it shouldnt be too long.

at least from my side, yes...the weather here is so bad that I don't think I can come up with another one anyway.

Gazraa,
Do you still place challenges in here, or has this kinda died off?

Well, the previous challenges haven't been too successful with not many contributions, but now the forum has grown a bit more it might be a chance to launch another one.

Feel free to suggest your own. Maybe we could run something similar to another forum where someone suggests a topic and chooses the winner. The winner then chooses the next topic etc etc.

I would like to offer some sort of prize, but funds are a little bit tight at the moment....

Not bad, not bad at all, getting that combination of exposure, clear sky, lack of camera shake and sun angle to give the interesting definition at the edges.

I think you got it all, the last bit of fine detail is pure luck on conditions at the time, otherwise I'd say almost perfect even with some colour showing.... the cheese must be going off ....

Nah,  no good, can't see any orbiters whizzing around, focus must be off    LOL

Looks pretty good actually, good exposure for sure, as I said previous, rest is luck on the night with clear skies, no ice in the stratosphere. thermal wobbles etc.

Dunno if anyone ever got the prize ...
