2 Second plus exposures -- THE WINNER(S)
« on: October 18, 2006, 05:17:13 PM »
Another close run challenge which meant I had to triple check my maths to get the following results:

The winner, as voted by the members of the forum, is as follows:

I said it was close, and we have a joint first place. I'm not going to do a count back on positions, so I will award both D7D and Snapper T the top prize and a £10 (or equivalent in their currency) amazon voucher to spend on whatever they like :)

A reminder of the two winning images:

D7D's boats was one that instantly got my attention. The colours are fantastic. It was only after looking at it for a while that I noticed the stars in the sky too.

Snapper T's Porth Nanven was another instantly liked shot. The composition, colours and overall effect of the image are great. Excellent stuff.

Everyone produced great images though, but better luck next time to those that didn't win.

The overall order was:

=1. D7D
=1. Snapper T
3. Clive
=4. Keith_h
=4. Sprint16v
6. Fother

Congrats to the winners. Again, a compliment just to be considered in such company.

Congrats to everyone who entered and particularly the winners.

I'd gone out one night the other week to try and get a photo worthy of submission but long exposures with no tripod is hard!  Anyway, for anyone still looking for a long exposure, there's a meteor shower due over the UK tonight --- although you'll be lucky to see anything with the clouds!
