"Close UP"
« on: June 20, 2006, 09:51:30 AM »
OK the "I see red" will run another 2 weeks. I will pick several pics out and then I’ll lock it, and we can start judging (that should also run about another 2 weeks) . The next topic is now open

"Close UP" OK you all know I'm a macro fan so that’s why I chose the title, but that doesn’t mean it has to be a macro. Use your imagination and it is limited to 4 pics per member. As it will be so hard for me to go through all those other entries and limit it to just a few there is so much great stuff in there.

Limiting the number of pics is a great idea -- it helps focus the mind... and slow down minoltaman! ;-)

Pfft, I have not even submitted my real entries to the red thread yet.

Those first hundred were just practice shots...

'Close-up' could mean just about anything. It's a very loose term. By no means macro at all. You could get a close-up of the moon, or a baboons arse; anything goes.

Too wide-open in my opinion. I guess I'll start posting portraits of my favorite chicks...close-ups, of course. Better gaze at those butterflies now as they may be replaced with "regular" close-ups real soon. ;-) I shot hundreds of close-ups of my favorite chick rockers tonight and I am sure there has to be a keeper in there somewhere. :-)

Interestingly enough, I have a close-up of a baboon's arse.

It'd fit right in with the "I see red" as well...

just a good play on words for the title

If I pushed a copy of myself off a cliff because he was swearing could I be charged with making an obscene clone fall?
