Vertical grip and flash bracket
« on: April 08, 2005, 04:48:49 PM »
I found out that my stroboframe press t bracket blocks my finger from using the vertical shutter comfortably and that this problem also happened with the regular maxxum 7 grip.

Can anyone recommend a light flash  bracket (similar to the press t) that avoids this issue?

I don't think I've ever seen a flash bracket that wouldn't get in the way of the vertical grip. They all attach to the tripod mount, and that's right where you hold your hand when using the vertical position.

I mean a bracket that doesn't block the shutter release. From what I understand the canon and nikon grips have the shutter release higher on the grip than the minoltas so the right hand side of the stroboframe bracket doesn't block those.

I just recently bought the Custom Bracket digital T bracket.  works well and is out of the way of the shutter release on the vertical grip
