Does anyone know if there is an adapter that will a!low the use of a made in Japan Vivitar 283 flash with my Sony a330? Thanks.
I think you need something like this
I have a couple that convert a standard ISO mount to a "Minolta Mount".
I would most certainly check first of all if your Vivitar is safe voltage wise on your Sony with adaptor. Many older flashes have higher voltage than found on modern cameras. You wouldn`t want to fry the sony electronics.
You could always use it off camera with a slave attached triggered by the Minolta flash.
