Help! Interfit hotshoe adaptor

I own a Centon RF20 ringflash, and recently purchased the above adaptor to connect to my bodies. I've tried it on the KM5D successfully, but as this is "dispensable" would like to move over to the A200/300. I'm concerned that the 5D may have a greater voltage tolerance and with no access to a multimeter, am unaware of the voltage from the flash - is it worth risking it, or does anyone know for sure whether the adaptor will protect my precious Sonys?

Wish I could help. I just started to use everything I had from the KM to the Sony without a second thought. So far, no problems. If you do need to replace your adaptor, you can get a generic FS-1100 from one of the Hong Kong dealers pretty cheap.
