Alph 3000 Flash
« on: January 02, 2014, 09:45:05 PM »
The Alpha 3000 has a very conventional looking old fashioned flash mount, so what flash units will work with it?

The A3000 has the Sony variant on the standard ISO hotshoe - so you need flashes with the new foot; F20M, F43, F60 - or an adaptor and one of the old Sony / Minolta flashguns (or compatible 3rd party flash).

I don't know of any 3rd party flashguns designed for the new Sony hotshoe - manual only flashes for ISO hotshoes (Canon / Nikon models) MAY work, but I'm not sure I risk it without someone else having experimented first!
