ended up buying the SAL14TC to go with my 70-200G.  The moon popped out from behind the clouds for few minutes on Sunday so I grabbed the chance:



Sony a55, Sony 70-200/f2.8 G + Sony 1.4x teleconverter.    ISO200, 280mm, f5.6, -1.3EV, 1/1000sec

I'm impressed!
