Lee have released the 'Big Stopper' - ND Glass Square 100x100mm 10 stop Filter:
http://www.robertwhite.co.uk/product.asp?P_ID=1762

Looked at it at Focus on Imaging, but they had no stock left to sell.  It has a seal on one side of the filter so that you don't get 'light leakage' around the side. Looked pretty good and a will be a lot easier to use then the 'screw on' B&W ND110 (as well as being able to use 'Grads')

100mm Pro Glass ND

The ProGlass ND is an extremely high quality glass ND standard filter – optimised for use with digital cameras, but equally useful for film. This brand new filter uses a surface coating made from evaporated metal, and therfore provides very even absorption across the visible spectrum and through the UV and Infra Red regions. Digital SLR users need to use ND standard filters to prolong exposure times in bright conditions for landscape photography, but the excess UV and IR can cause colour problems in some lighting situations.

The ProGlass filter reduces any chance of false colour casts, and also provides a result described as ‘punchier’ on digital and film because the light forming the image is more specific to the requirements of the film or sensor.

* New from Lee Filters, the Big Stopper is a high quality glass ten stop long exposure filter. It reduces the amount of light entering your lens by ten stops allowing you to use a much slower shutter speed or wider lens aperture.

By greatly extending exposure times the BIG Stopper has the effect of allowing anything that is moving in your image to become blurred or ghost like, for example, clouds, waterfalls, rivers, and the sea. However the effect is not limited to landscapes, the filter can be used on cityscapes to blur people or roads and motorways to blur traffic.

The BIG Stopper fits in the standard LEE 100mm Filter Holder allowing it to be used on a number of different lenses as well as in conjunction with other filters such as neutral density graduated filters.

Not actually that bad.  £80 + VAT.  (£94 incl).  So a little cheaper than their standard ND Glass filters.  To compare, I think the 77mm B&W ND 3.0 (10 stop) is around £80 incl.

I saw this one on the lee website the other day, As you say, definately easier to use than the screw in one.

I paid £64 for my 10 stop B+W one, if and when its replaced id almost certainly get one.
