DT lens
« on: January 30, 2009, 08:29:42 PM »
Hi all

I'm looking at a DT 55-200 lens (which I believe is called a kit lens) for £99 brand new.

Is there something better I could be spending my money on? I'm only just getting in DLSR photography and the lens will mainly be used on trackday's when I'm not driving.

Is it worth waiting and getting the extra cash together for a beercan?

Thanks

Rob

I would

In a nutshell, Yes.
The beercan is a far superior lens and unless you are unlucky and get a bad copy, will produce far better images.
